St. Philip Neri Catholic School Athletics Mission Statement
St. Philip Neri Catholic School Athletics is committed to providing a positive, faith-centered athletic experience for elementary and middle school students. Through sports participation, students are encouraged to grow in character, teamwork, leadership, discipline, sportsmanship, and school pride. Our athletic program strives to develop the whole child by promoting physical fitness, confidence, respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials, while reinforcing the values of our Catholic faith both on and off the field of play. Working together with parents, coaches, staff, and the community, SPN Athletics aims to create a safe, competitive, and supportive environment where students can learn life lessons, build lasting friendships, and represent St. Philip Neri School with integrity, positivity, and excellence. St. Philip Neri Catholic School Athletics Philosophy
The philosophy of St. Philip Neri Catholic School Athletics is to provide elementary and middle school students with an educational athletic experience rooted in faith, respect, teamwork, and personal growth. We believe athletics are an extension of the classroom where students learn valuable life lessons through participation, dedication, and healthy competition.
SPN Athletics is committed to developing the whole child — spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically — while encouraging students to demonstrate Christian values both on and off the playing field. Winning is important, but character, effort, sportsmanship, and respect for others are valued above all else.
Through the partnership of coaches, parents, staff, and the community, our athletic program promotes leadership, responsibility, self-confidence, perseverance, and school pride in a safe and supportive environment where every student-athlete has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
